No-School Day
Baking Camps
A full day of hands-on baking for kids ages 7–15. Four projects, a lunch they help make, and everything goes home.
Camp Dates
We start the day the way every great baker should — with breakfast! Kids make cinnamon rolls from scratch, get creative with pancake art, put together a savory breakfast flatbread for lunch, and finish with a rich French toast casserole. Equal parts sweet and savory, this day is a crowd favorite.
This is the real deal — kids bake a layer cake completely from scratch, learn how to crumb coat and get a smooth frost, work with fondant decorations, and finish with a fully decorated showpiece they built themselves. For lunch, we build our own flatbreads before the decorating fun begins.
Sunshine and citrus all day long. Kids make a mango lime tart, a coconut layer cake, pineapple upside-down cupcakes, and passion fruit bars. Lunch is a Hawaiian flatbread loaded with tropical toppings — a little vacation right here in Wheaton.
Blast off into the galaxy! Kids make a swirly galaxy cake, hand-paint solar system cookies, whip up cosmic brownies, and sculpt alien rice krispie pops. We fuel up with a moon surface white pizza — all white sauce, all out of this world.
Shiver me timbers — it's a full pirate baking adventure! Kids build an X Marks the Spot cake, craft a chocolate treasure box, sculpt parrot fondant cupcake toppers, and make cannonball cake pops. Treasure map pepperoni flatbread for lunch, then back to the high seas.
Flowers in every form! Kids make flower cookie tartlets, a delicate floral roll cake, a mini cupcake bouquet, and pressed flower shortbread. Lunch is a flower veggie white pizza that's almost as pretty as everything else on the table.
Welcome to a world made of sugar! Kids bake a cotton candy cake, put together a candy store drip cake loaded with toppings, make homemade chocolates, and decorate lollipop cookies. We take a savory break with a rainbow veggie flatbread before diving back into the sweet stuff.
One day before Halloween and we're going all in. Kids bake a cauldron chocolate cake, sculpt monster rice krispie pops, decorate spiderweb sugar cookies, and make candy corn fudge bars. Lunch is a jack-o-lantern flatbread — spooky face and all.
Pure magic from start to finish. Kids make an over-stuffed unicorn or bear cake (their choice!), a rainbow watercolor buttercream cake, unicorn krispie treats, and magic wand sugar cookies. Lunch is a dreamy pink sauce flatbread. Glitter and sprinkles will be involved.
Every color of the rainbow, every baking technique in the book. Kids make a rainbow sprinkle surprise cake, rainbow cake pops, a rainbow cheesecake, and rainbow sugar cookies. Lunch is a rainbow veggie flatbread — because the theme demands it.
Where baking meets art. Kids build a gravity-defying paint can cake, paint on cookies with edible colors, make paint splatter donuts, and finish with watercolor buttercream cupcakes. Lunch is a paint palette pizza — as colorful as the rest of the day.
The perfect pre-Thanksgiving day. Kids decorate turkey cupcakes, make a classic pumpkin roll, cut and bake leaf-shaped shortbread, and fry up apple cider donuts. Everything is made to take home and share — or eat in the car on the way.
The classic holiday baking lineup, all in one day. Kids build and decorate a gingerbread house, decorate festive sugar cookies, make candy cane bark, and bake a cinnamon roll wreath. Lunch is a holiday tree flatbread. Everything goes home ready to gift.
For the soccer fans, the sports fans, and the kids who just want to eat a chocolate ball. Kids make a grass pitch cake, crack open a chocolate soccer surprise ball, decorate black-and-white soccer cookies, and make trophy cake pops. Lunch is a soccer ball flatbread.
A full day dedicated to chocolate. Kids learn to temper chocolate for bark, hand-roll truffles, fill molded chocolate bonbons, and bake ultra-fudgy brownies. This is a serious chocolate day — come hungry. Lunch is a Nutella and strawberry dessert flatbread.
All the magic of winter, no holiday theme required. Kids bake a white winter cake, decorate snowflake sugar cookies, make hot cocoa bombs, and put together peppermint bark brownies. Lunch is a snowflake cheese flatbread. Cold outside, cozy in here.
Level up in the kitchen. Kids build a pixel art cake, decorate controller cookies, sculpt 8-bit character cake pops, and make power-up cupcakes. Great for the gamers in your life — and a perfect screen-free day that still speaks their language. Lunch is build-your-own flatbread.
Last camp before the holidays — let's make it count. Kids build and decorate a gingerbread house, decorate festive sugar cookies, make candy cane bark, and bake a cinnamon roll wreath. Everything goes home ready to give or eat over break. Lunch is a holiday tree flatbread.
Back by popular demand mid-break! Kids build an X Marks the Spot cake, craft a chocolate treasure box, sculpt parrot fondant cupcake toppers, and make cannonball cake pops. Treasure map pepperoni flatbread for lunch, then back to the high seas.
One more trip to the galaxy before the new year. Kids make a swirly galaxy cake, paint solar system cookies, whip up cosmic brownies, and sculpt alien rice krispie pops. Moon surface white pizza for lunch — all white sauce, totally out of this world.
Très magnifique! Kids assemble croissants, pipe and fill chocolate éclairs, torch their own crème brûlée, and decorate madeleines. This is the fanciest day in the kitchen all year — and kids love every second of it. Lunch is a French bistro flatbread.
